SLS Models
The SLS process is essentially the same as Stereolithography (SLA). The key difference is that the resin is a powder instead of a liquid. A CO2  laser sinters (melts) the powder molecules together and creates a model with a slightly textured surface. The advantages of the SLS process are high model strength and functionality during testing.

CNC Machining
This is a high speed machining process to produce high quality prototype and production parts from solid stock. This process assures tight tolerances, sharp detail and excellent surface finish. CNC Machining is not limited to just metals, but is also used on the new, high tech plastics. Some materials we commonly machine are ABS, PVC, and Renboard.

We provide the prototyping innovation expertise with the best molding solutions to create the parts at a competitive price.

SLA Quickcast
This process of Stereolithography, can produce metal parts without the expensive tooling cost. Quick cast drains quasi-hollow parts from specially formulated resin. When the liquid resin is drained from the part’s interior, a honey comb configuration is established, but the outside of the part has a thin skin. A ceramic slurry is built up on the outside of the honey comb pattern and will then go through a burnout phase. The resin turns into ashes and creates the cavity for the investment casting mold. This process is used in making precision metal parts faster and more accurate –as the name implies.

Vacuum Metalizing/ Chrome Plating
Both SLA models and urethane castings are able to be taken to the “next level” of being vacuum metalized or chrome plated.

Laser Scanning / Reverse Engineering
Eagle Design has the capability of creating a 3D CAD file from an existing tool or physical part with on-site convenience if needed. Our laser scanning ability automatically captures and creates precise CAD models from any part regardless of the surface geometry. We then develop a point cloud file which is converted into NURBS surface data using Geomagic software. We’ll capture existing surfaces that will accelerate your design to build cycle time.
