Preferred FTP Method
The preferred FTP upload method is to use an FTP client. Web browsers are not good FTP tools and their inconsistencies with handling FTP makes them difficult to troubleshoot. Therefore, the best option is to install an FTP client like FileZilla.
FileZilla is free, and easy to install.
Installation Instructions
- Click here to download this file
- Once your download completes, a window will pop up (depending on your version of Windows) asking you to run the file. You will need administrator rights, so check with your IT department first.
- Go through the installation procedures. Once it finishes installing, there is very little more to do.

Connecting
- If you did everything correctly, you will not need to do those steps again.
- All you need to do now is click on the little arrow next to the server connection icon from earlier:

- You will see a list of your sites in the drop down menu. Simply click on the one you want, and you will connect.

- Some green text will start listing on the top section. Once it is finished, you can upload any file, by dragging and dropping the file into the highlighted area, called "Remote Site"
